UNDER THE MICROSCOPE...

I do not write diary entries. Ive tried that before. Part of my day-to-day life is not worth discussing and another part should not be discussed in writing where it could come back to haunt me. Theres nothing particularly interesting in a blow-by-blow account of getting the kids to clean their rooms or of writing a brief and what I think about while doing these things Id rather not say.

My relatives, particularly my in-laws, would be shocked to discover that I dont say anything and everything that comes into my head. Even the principal of the kids school has indicated that Im blunt. (Okay, so I told him that others have said I am blunt and he didnt disagree. Still, the man is perfectly capable of disagreeing.) There has to be a point to what Im saying though because Im even more practical than I am blunt.

So, Im trying a different approach. I plan to magnify small areas of my life. Everything looks more interesting under a microscope.
